A website accessible to everyone
When we looked at redesigning our website, we wanted to make sure all kinds of people could understand and use all its features.
So we've worked hard to make sure all our pages are open to people with a variety of needs. And we're continuing to develop our site to make sure it meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines AA standard.

Easy to find what you need
We spent over two months researching and testing design ideas with actual users, so we could understand exactly how people interacted with our website.
One of the main things we looked at was how people moved around it. The top navigation is now a lot less cluttered, focusing on the main areas we know you visit. We even changed the names of some sections, so you can find what you’re looking for far more easily. Simply renaming “Home Services” to "Boilers & Heating" led to many more people finding this information.
A clean, straightforward homepage
Our new homepage is a great example of our aim to keep things simple.
We found that very few visitors to our website saw all the revolving messages on our carousel, so we’ve removed it. Now three clear sections show you our great offers and useful information upfront.
For our handy blue action bar, we looked at how you use our website and what you contact us about. Now you can go to the popular areas of our site straight from the homepage and quickly do what you need to.
A great experience no matter how you use our site
Many people who currently use our website do so via a mobile or tablet. Now it works across a wider range of devices than ever before. There's no need to zoom in or deal with fiddly buttons. You'll get the same great experience whether you're using your phone, tablet, laptop, TV, or big screen display.
And we know speed is a big issue when you're online, so our new site is fast. Our pages now appear in an average of less than one second on a standard WiFi connection. Even on slower connections, we're confident your experience should be faster than on our old site.

Our new Help hub has advice and support for energy, broadband and phone, boilers and heating, and your account all in one place. So you can find the answers you need in just a couple of steps.
We've put articles about similar topics together and used clever technology so you'll get the help you need. You can search for specific articles or browse our products and services. And if you need to get in touch, you'll find how to contact us here too.
Search the smart way
Our new search is fast, smart and accurate.
Search directly from the navigation bar at the top of the website without needing to leave the page you're on. And, as you type, our smart search brings up articles that could help. So you can go from the search bar straight to the information you need.
