See your energy at a glance
Having everything in one place helps you to better understand your energy account and keep track of your usage. The My SSE app gives you your own energy summary – everything you need to know is displayed on the start screen – or, as we like to call it, “the dashboard”.
It will show your up-to-date account balances and provide details of your next bill and payment dates.
You can also submit a meter reading (or view your usage if you have a smart meter) right from the dashboard.
The app only allows you to manage energy. To manage broadband, you'll need to continue using our website.
Submit meter readings in seconds
The app allows you to submit your meter readings by scanning your meters. It's the quickest way of sending us your readings, but you can also manually enter them.
Submitting regular meter readings is the best way of keeping your energy accounts up to date. Each time you submit one, your account balances will update and any bills you're due will be accurate.
And if you install a smart meter, you can say goodbye to manual meter readings altogether.
Go smart and monitor your energy usage
If you have a smart meter, you can view your energy usage right in the app. It'll show the energy you've used each hour, day and month (depending on how your smart meter has been setup) in pounds and pence.
If you haven't joined the smart revolution, why not book your installation today? Whilst you wait you can view your previous bills and meter readings, helping you to visibly monitor your energy usage.
View your payments
As well as being able to see when your next payment is due, you can view your previous payments for the last two years – handy if you want to keep track of what you're spending.

We're proud of our new app, but it's just the start. We're working hard to bring more exciting features and updates in the coming months.
Soon you'll be able to pay your bill right from the app. You'll also be able to save your payment card to your account to make payments quicker next time.
