All cover is a 12-month contract, starting the day after you sign up.
You'll get a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate for all your landlord owned gas appliances. We cover repairs to your boiler and controls, including thermostat and programmer with parts, and unlimited call-outs. If you choose our Landlord Heating Cover, we'll also cover repairs to your radiators and pipework, hot water cylinder and full central heating system.

Priority breakdown service
We'll repair your boiler or central heating system as a priority over initial inspections and annual services.
Boiler repair and rescue
Our Boiler Repair service is £195, but you can pay just £75 if you take out any annual SSE Boiler or Heating Cover plan at the same time (excludes SSE Boiler Breakdown and SSE Heating Breakdown Cover). You'll be covered for the whole year for boiler breakdowns and you'll save £120 - that's more than the cost of 6 months cover.
£120 saving based on the cost of SSE Boiler Repair (£195) compared with the cost of £75 when you take an annual SSE Heating or Boiler Cover product at the same time (excludes SSE Boiler Breakdown and SSE Heating Breakdown Cover). The saving on Boiler Repair equates to more than 6 monthly payments on the eligible Cover products in this offer.

SSE Electrical Wiring Cover is subject to the SSE Home Services policy booklet
An initial inspection is a visual inspection of your home electrical wiring and fuse box and an earth loop impedance test, and may be deemed necessary if your house is over 15 years old, hasn't been rewired in the last 15 years or has an old style fuse box. "Fixed electrical wiring system" covers electrical wiring, fuse box, light fittings and switches, wall sockets and shower isolation switches.

When someone pays an excess, it means that they will be paying the first part of a claim. If you have a £0 excess however, you will not have to pay anything.
