At SSE, we've built up sponsorships that make a difference to our customers and the wider community, both nationally and locally.

We sponsor four world class sport and entertainment venues, some of the country's biggest sporting events and the UK’s largest independent music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins.

SSE Womens FA Cup Final celebration
  • Women's football
    SSE supports women's football at every level, from helping local clubs get girls playing, right up to sponsoring The SSE Women's FA Cup and The SSE Scottish Women's Cup. 
  • Cricket
    We sponsor The SSE SWALEC international cricket stadium in Cardiff. We also contribute to the Community Development Fund, supporting cricket clubs around the country.
  • Golf
    Team SSE Scottish Hydro supports players to compete at the highest level. The SSE Scottish Hydro Challenge is also one of the most coveted titles on the European Challenge Tour.

We support four major entertainment venues, bringing you music, sport, comedy and events, and allowing our customers to get priority tickets to some of the UK's biggest live acts.

  • The SSE Arena, Wembley
    This historic venue has hosted everyone from The Beatles to Beyoncé, as well as the Olympics and the X Factor Finals.
  • The SSE Hydro
    One of Scotland's biggest entertainment venues, Glasgow's The SSE Hydro hosts 140 acts and shows a year.
  • The SSE Arena, Belfast
    Northern Ireland's premier entertainment venue hosts music, sport, comedy and even politics.
  • The SSE SWALEC
    This stadium in the heart of Cardiff puts on international cricket matches as well as concerts by world-famous names.
